Ian McEwan is a British novelist and screenwriter. Among other novels, he has written "Atonement" and "Sweet Tooth," the first of these being made into a successful film. He won the Man Booker Prize for his novel "Amsterdam." Here he is, talking about where his ideas and inspiration come from.
